2025 Zine Call for Submissions
We want to include everything you may be feeling right now: Joy, rage, love, solidarity, angst, and the broad diversity of the trans experience. We strongly encourage submissions from all identities, mediums, and levels of confidence.
Sundays, 2 to 5 PM in March we will be hosting 3 Zine Submission Crafting events:
Columbus: March 9th
Cleveland: March 23rd
Cincinnati: March 30th
Location details TBA ASAP! Art supplies will be provided and keep what you create.

2024 Zine Submissions will be included in the 2025 Zine.
There were 3 qualifications for submission for the 2025 zine:
you must be trans/nonbinary/gender non-conforming
live in Ohio
your submission must be about some aspect of your trans experience
All submissions meeting those criteria will be included.
The deadline to submit an entry is May 5th. Later entries will be included in the next zines.
Everyone with an included submission will receive a free copy of the zine. We hope to have both print and digital copies available.
Submissions can come in any form of expression that speaks to you that can be reproduced in print media. Some examples of content types: short stories, essays, poems, art, statements, pictures, comics, jokes, shared moments, doodles, photos, and everything else in-between. No submission is too small in length or degree: all joy and rage is valid. Our trans joy is resistance and power and we're very excited to showcase that.
100% of proceeds from printed editions of the zine will go towards TransOhio's gender and name change mutual aid grants.
